FAQs

1. What options are available on the ADSL service?
We can provide Annex A (traditional broadband) or Annex M ADSL services. Annex M does reduce the download speed but increases the upload speed up to 2Mb for end users providing remote access services from their premises.

2. Is FTTC available UK wide?
No. It depends if the copper phone line goes via an enabled FTTC cabinet prior to the exchange, so you would need to check with your account manager. Speeds will vary depending on the quality of the copper line, the distance to the cabinet and the distance to the exchange. FTTC is also a contended service so will depend on usage within the local area and at the carrier.

3. Can I transfer existing broadband connections to a new carrier?
Yes. Connections can be easily transferred with minimal downtime. With new Ofcom regulation your existing carrier needs to inform you of any contract charges prior to the transfer.
